The Western Coventry School Parent Teacher Association has a tradition of strong support for the educational programs of the school. It strives to develop programs of interest to all members of the school community.
The PTA plans many social activities to foster school and community spirit. These include the Harvest Festival, Talent Show, School Pictures, Snack Sale, Teacher Appreciation Week and many more. The PTA also:
* Encourages classroom innovation with its Teacher Grant Program.
* Brings various groups and individuals into the school to enrich and support the curriculum.
* Sponsors various parent education activities.
* Supports the "Parent's Center", located near the office, which houses a collection of parenting literature.
Our PTA needs strong support and active involvement of all parents and friends of Western Coventry School to continue its tradition of excellence........
Business meetings are held 6 times a year (see PTA Calendar). Annual dues are $6.00 for an individual. Add a second family member for $4.00 more. From each membership $1.75 goes to National and $1.50 goes to State PTA; the remainder goes directly to Western Coventry School.
